The CIB Conference is hosted by the WI Department of Justice, Division of Law Enforcement Services. The Crime Information Bureau is responsible for managing four state-wide programs: the Transaction Information for the Management of Enforcement (TIME) System; Wisconsin’s criminal history repository, Handgun Hotline and Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) licenses.
Started in 1999, the CIB conference was created to provide critical training for law enforcement, dispatch and members of local government on topics including:

- Firearms
- Time & Technical Unit
- Criminal Justice Information Security (CJIS)
- T'IME and ACADIS
- Peer Support
- Critical Incidents

Plenary Session
Stronger Hearts, Stronger Leaders - Fueling your Leadership
In his presentation, Dr. Stone will outline the scope of heart disease within public safety occupations and will discuss why it appears to be so prevalent within high-stress occupations.
Then do a deep dive into nutrition, meal planning, and determination of individual nutritional needs based on gender, age, and activity level. He will finalize the section with a Q/A aimed at addressing the overwhelming amount of mis-information subverting the mainstream understanding of “dieting”.
Friday Debrief
Controlling the Controllable - Lessons Learned from the Abundant Life School.
Featuring a collaborative presentation from Madison Police Department, Dane County Emergency Management, Dane County Sheriff's Office and Madison Fire Department.
